Host Terms

1. Eligibility and verification

You must be 18 or older. Hosting is opened in stages: complete your core identity, then identity verification (KTP or equivalent plus a liveness check), then your payout details. Verification and payout details are required before your first withdrawal.

A public host profile is created automatically when you become a host, so guests can see your events, reviews and badges.

2. Accurate listings

Publish the real date, address, capacity, price in IDR, cancellation policy, and what guests receive. Update the listing immediately if anything changes.

Paid events may take 2 to 500 participants. Free events are capped at 10 participants.

3. Fees

You receive 100% of the ticket price you set. OTW's service fee is charged to the guest on top of your price and is shown at checkout before they pay.

Creating and publishing an event is free. All amounts are processed in IDR through a Bank Indonesia-licensed payment provider (currently DOKU and Finpay). Any withdrawal fee, when applicable, is disclosed before you confirm a withdrawal.

4. Escrow and payouts

Guest payments are held in escrow and released to your Host Earnings at the event's scheduled start time.

You choose how funds leave the platform: automatic payouts, which send your available balance to your saved payout account without a request, or payouts on request, which you trigger yourself from the Earnings page.

Payout accounts are verified automatically by the system. Withdrawals above Rp 50,000,000 are held for a manual review by our team before release. Withdrawals typically settle within 3 business days.

5. Cancellations

You set the cancellation policy for each event, and it is shown to guests before they pay. The default for new events is non-refundable; choose a more flexible policy if you want to allow guest cancellations.

If you cancel a published event, all guests are refunded automatically and no escrow funds are released to you for that event.

Repeated host cancellations or no-shows can reduce your visibility in discovery, your badges, and your payout eligibility.

6. On the day

• Arrive early and check guests in by scanning their ticket QR in the app.
• Ensure the venue matches what you advertised.
• Escalate emergencies to local authorities first, then notify OTW Support.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes owed on income earned through hosting under Indonesian law. OTW may provide transaction summaries to support your reporting but does not file taxes on your behalf.
